Cool things to do with sublime text editor11/30/2023 ![]() ![]() Aside from this, the pros highly outweighs the cons and you should consider this text editor. It sucks having to do this when you have a new computer. In order to install it, I had to find a random command in the web, plug it in the package manager, and then install it. I mean, it's one of the biggest languages in the world. I also don't like that Sublime does not have a syntax highlighting package for Powershell. This means you have to uninstall it, find the latest software on their sites, and install it again. ![]() This can be very frustrating! I've also seen where Sublime bugs out and fails to update, no matter what you do. Yes, updates are good, but it surely feels like Sublime has an update a few times a month. And it's always good to have a tool ready to use. Come in the Java Script, in Python, in C++ and so forth. And especially that I can use it for a large variety of languages. Also, a very interesting one is that you can evaluate Sublime Text for very long and eventually you pay for it when you're ready, but the evaluation period is unlimited and that gives you plenty of time to fall in love with the product. In the sense of there is a large number of languages that you can use it for, for programming and for text editing. I love Sublime Text because of its flexibility. So those are some of the products I've used before Sublime Text. I've used Visual Studio code which I actually continue to use even now.
